Faith Baptist Church is:

Independent
Not a part of any convention, or national organization                          Fundamental We believe the entire Bible literally
Baptist - We believe certain tenets that are distinctly Baptist

Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God and that it is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. For reasons of unity within the church and textual reliability and credibility we use the King James Bible, the preserved Word of God for English speaking people.
(1 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalms 12:6-7)

Sovereign God
We believe that God is a Person, eternally existing as the Trinity in Unity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – Three Persons and yet one God
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 26:19; 1 Corinthians 8:6)

Son
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, eternally existing, is the only begotten Son of God, who became a sinless man in order to redeem us. He was born of a virgin, and is 100% God and 100% man.
             (Luke 1:30-55; John 1:1-15; John 8:58;            Philippians 2:5-8; Colossians 1:15)

Sin
We believe man was created in the image of God but fell through sin, bringing not only physical death, but also spiritual death or eternal separation from God. Now all of mankind exists as a fallen race, with an inherited sinful nature. We further believe that without Christ as personal Lord and Savior, hell is the everlasting home of men.
(Genesis 1:26-27; 2:16; 3:16-19; Romans 3:10-23; 6:23)

Sacrifice of Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ suffered and died as a substitutionary payment for the sins of the whole world. He physically arose from the dead and then ascended into Heaven. Simple faith in this sacrifice and repentance is the only way of salvation for mankind.
              (Luke 24; Acts 1:9-11; Romans 5:8-10;            Ephesians 1:20-23; 1 Peter 3:18)

Service
We believe that the Local Church is a group of believers baptized by water (immersion), banded together for edification, exhortation, and evangelism as commanded by Christ in the Great Commission; preaching the Gospel to every creature. We further believe that all service for the propagation of the Gospel must come under the authority of the Local Church.
(Mark 16:15; 1 Corinthians 12:12; Ephesians 1:22-23)

Separation
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ expects His children, those who have accepted Him as personal Lord and Savior, to be separate from the world in action, attitude, and association. We believe that we are to reach the lost without allowing ourselves to participate in things that are against Scripture. We do not believe that you have to mimic the world or act like the world in order to win others. We do believe, however, that if we will live separated lives, we will be the salt of the earth that will make others thirsty for the things of Christ.
(1 John 2:15-16; 2 Corinthians 6:14-16)

Second Coming
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will soon come again in the air to catch up His Church and to reward their service. The unbelievers left behind will go through a period called the Tribulation, after which Christ will return to the earth to set up His Kingdom of one thousand years of righteous rule. After this the unbelievers of all ages will stand at the Great White Throne to be judged and cast into the Lake of Fire, separated from God forever, while the saved will spend eternity in the fullness of joy in Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ.
(Matthew 24:29-42; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18;  Revelation 19:11-20:13)

 "But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."
