Dr. Ron Ostten was saved in Slidell, Louisiana on June 27, 1965.  He was called to preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in 1966.  While in Bible College, he worked as a cabinet builder until he read in 1Corinthians 9:14, "Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel."  Dr. Ostten came home, sold all of his cabinet tools and began living by preaching the Word of God.

In the last 40 years of ministry, the Lord has allowed Dr. Ostten to preach in 44 states across this country and in 5 countries around the world.  Dr. Ostten has been mightily used by God and has had the privilege of seeing many souls saved, people called into the ministry, homes put back together, and lives rededicated to serve God whole heartedly.

Many preachers who have been influenced by his ministry consider him a preacher's pastor.

Dr. Ostten is currently serving the Lord in full time missionary/evangelism between the countries of the United States and the Maritime Provinces of Canada.

Dr. and Mrs. Ostten have been married for 50 years and have 5 children.  Sandra McKinney (at home with the Lord), Ronald Lee Ostten, Jr.; Steven H. Ostten; Hope Curtis; John Paul Ostten.  An added blessing to Brother and Mrs. Ostten is that all of their children are in full time ministry.

Dr. Ostten is willing to preach wherever the Lord opens the door regardless of church size.  His greatest desire is to be a blessing to pastors and churches who long to see God manifested in their lives and ministries.

If you are interested in having Dr. Ostten for a meeting please e-mail him.
